他们就把他带到亚略巴古说：“你所讲的这新道，我们也可以知道吗？

And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is?

那时，人要向大山说：‘倒在我们身上！’向小山说：‘遮盖我们！’

Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

大山因他震动，小山也都消化；大地在他面前突起，世界和住在其间的，也都如此。

The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

以色列人哪！当听耶和华的话。要起来向山岭争辩，使冈陵听你的话。

Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.

你这羊群的高台，锡安城的山哪(“城”原文作“女子”)！从前的权柄，就是耶路撒冷民的国权(“民”原文作“女子”)必归与你。

And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
